The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.
SASSA might be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed in regards to the high range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to sassa attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
